Death NYC is a New York City street artist who creates pop art that combines cultural references and color. Her work often features famous people, such as Marilyn Monroe, Barack Obama, and Mickey Mouse, alongside iconic art motifs like Andy Warhol's soup can. 

Death NYC, whose real name is unknown, chooses to remain anonymous to maintain her freedom to work on the streets. She was born in 1979 and grew up in New York City, where she was exposed to many different cultures and perspectives that influenced her art. Her work has been featured in galleries and on the streets around the world, and has even been featured in a Google Glass commercial. Death NYC's pieces have also been auctioned for prices ranging from $22 to $812, depending on the size and medium.
